Over the past decade, more and more businesses have started protecting themselves from the liability of harmful fumes and vapors coming through the foundation of the building. Most of these business have turned to a vapor barrier to help alleviate these liabilities, but many business have recently realized that many of the vapor barriers in todays market do not adequately protect their
building from vapor intrusion.

The Geoseal 60 mil vapor barrier is the premier vapor barrier of today. CCI is a licensed Geoseal application and over the past 5 years CCI has installed a large
variety of Geoseal vapor barriers. CCI will work tirelessly to meet the growing demand for effective vapor barriers and will work hard to ensure that our clients are more the adequately protected from vapor intrusion and the liability associated with it.

PROJECT EXPERIENCE

Geoseal-McDonalds Florence, SC

CCI provided personnel and equipment to install the vapor barrier system for McDonalds. There were very few penetrations. Pictured below is the first layer (left) and the second layer (right). The total area the vapor barrier protected was 4,500 SF.

Large Retailer Fort Mills, SC

CCI provided personnel and equipment to install the vapor barrier system for. A large client This project included installing our vapor barrier on some downward sloping services under the freezer slab. Pictured on the right is the third and final layer of the Geoseal system. The total area the vapor barrier protected was 45,000 SF.

Geoseal-1215 Church Street Nashville

CCI provided personnel and equipment to install the vapor barrier system for Cambridge Swinerton Builders on a contaminated property in Nashville, TN. The project Consisted of 84,300 SF of base floor square footage and 14,660 SF of retaining walls of varying heights. Contamination of the soil that would be against the vertical walls warranted the covering of the vertical walls with the Geoseal system.
